Since our launch in 2010, we have gathered data from corporate workplaces in 63 different countries. Today, the Leesman Index is the largest independent collection of workplace effectiveness data in the world.
At the heart of our analysis sits the Leesman Lmi, a headline ‘functionality and effectiveness’ score which is calculated for every workplace measured.
We ask the same questions in each survey. This means organisations can not only assess their data for internal benchmarking, but also externally against every workplace we have ever measured. Organisations are then able to better understand how they compare to top performing workplaces, enabling them to identify key areas for investment and improvement.

Our survey asks respondents to rate 21 different work activities in terms of importance and satisfaction. We also look at service features such as telephone equipment, and similarly ask respondents to rank them on importance and satisfaction.
