1. Our Commitment to Accessibility

At Leesman, we are committed to making our website and digital services accessible to everyone. Our survey complies with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, as required by the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) Accessibility Regulations 2018.

2. Accessibility Features and Testing Methodologies

Our platform integrates features like compatibility with screen readers, high contrast modes, keyboard navigation, and consistent navigation design to enhance the user experience.

Accessibility testing is conducted using tools like Axe, WAVE, Accessibility Checker, and Silktide, alongside assistive technologies such as VoiceOverr, and native OS features like high contrast mode and magnifiers.

Most respondents will need to change the browser settings in order, for instance, to be able to:

  • Change colours, contrast levels and fonts using browser functionality
  • And zoom in up to 200% without the text spilling off the screen

 

Usually, they have apps and tools providing them with an additional service to:

  • Navigate most of the website using just a keyboard
  • Navigate most of the website using speech cognition software
  • Interact with most of the website using a screen reader (including recent versions of JAWS, NVDA and Voiceover)
  • Being able to answer our Accessible survey
