The world’s best workplaces 2017

Resources

In 2017, Leesman independently assessed more than 117,103 employees across 813 workplaces globally. Of these assessed, 21 organisations received a Leesman+ certification across 24 workplaces.

Exceptional employee experience is the result of putting employees and their roles at the centre of leadership’s attention. Our findings reveal that opportunities are consistently missed by many organisations, and there are scores of areas in which they can make their workplaces better.

An elite group of employers in 2017 rejected this trend and delivered individual workplaces that brilliantly support employee experience, reported by the employees themselves. This report examines those outstanding offices to understand what sets them apart from the rest.

Key takeaways
  • Leesman+ workplaces of 2017 predominantly embraced open-plan concepts, with few employees working in enclosed settings.
  • The findings highlight that workplace design plays a significant role in fostering a sense of community, and smaller workplaces may find it easier to create a strong community spirit.
