We are in the midst of a workplace experience revolution

In 2018 we published the Workplace Experience Revolution. The study, at least from a workplace perspective, sought to cast some light into the shadow of economists’ confusion as to why productivity growth had been little short of dismal for at least the previous decade. In 2019, as our database grew, we were provided the unparalleled opportunity to further investigate the extent to which new workplaces succeed or fail in delivering employee experiences.

Part 1: Unearthing the real drivers of employee sentiment

Conducted on the largest sample of employee workplace experience data ever amassed at the time, this study explored what it means for organisations trying to get the best of their real estate and employees. It focused on the multiple aspects of employee workplace experience, mapping out the complex web of factors that impact employee sentiment.

This study revealed the mission critical components needed to respond to the shift in expectation fuelled by an elite group of brands.

In 2019, with the Leesman Index having grown to 557,000+ employee responses, we sought to examine further the particular stresses and challenges in delivering positive outcomes from new workplaces.

This study aimed to examine why some workplace projects deliver benefits while others fall short, arming those responsible for future schemes with insights to spark deeper debate.
